Fall Photoshoot
I saw a quote on Pinterest that said, “Never again will I take for granted small moments with good friends.”
Those words hit home. A long time ago, back in my school years, I was seeing friends every day. We were living life together. We would walk the halls together, sit at lunch, sing in the school musical, and cry together.
When I graduated high school in 2019, everything changed. As much does when you have accomplished anything big.
Time with friends vanished. We all had different things on our minds. School, relationships, jobs, and figuring out what in the world to do with life. I saw fewer of my friends over those next two years.
For the longest time, I was afraid of asking friends to hang out. What was the fear? Rejection.
Then something switched inside me after the loss of family friends. Do not take life for granted. Spend intentional time with the people around you, say yes when someone invites you somewhere and ask people to hang out with you.
One of the many things I enjoy, my love language if you will, is having a photoshoot with some friends. You can be completely present with them. Bouncing creative ideas off each other and focusing on them, ahh, like focusing a camera! ;)
So here are some pictures from a recent photoshoot with a friend. I am so grateful to have many friends who I love greatly and are so kind. Here is to spending intentional time with each other. Here is to saying yes!
