Promise me, you’ll create pt. 1

I have held myself back.

When I wanted to start a blog I always pushed it off until I had time to produce content or until I was a better writer.

I take creative photos for Instagram, yet in the back of my head I’m wondering are people judging me for what I’m posting.

I started a YouTube channel, but stopped it after I started telling myself, “How could you be successful? You don’t look like them. You don't have as much money as them. So on and so fourth.

Who else has said these statements to themselves:

I’m not good enough.

I’ll start this when I am better at…(fill in the blank).

Could I even be successful?

What tiring thought those are. I wish I could tell you they have magically gone away, but they have not.

Here’s what I am going to start doing. Creating. I’m going to do the things I love because it brings me happiness. Though those thoughts might still be in my head as I am creating, I am choosing to create.

So here’s what I say to you!

Do it! Start your blog, instagram, business, college degree, etc. I am here to support your dreams because they are important to you and that matters.

It’s okay to have a little fear and to be excited all at the same time.

Promise me, you’ll create!

As I start my own journey of creating the things I love, I also want to be here to support you in your own dreams. I hope to produce content that encourages you to go after your goals, but also have a little bit of fun a long the way. This is for you and me.
